Why we started.

I moved to New Zealand young and noticed the distance between good design and most homes. The price carried too many layers, each one standing between the maker and the front door.

My family had spent fifteen years making things properly. The tools were there, the knowledge was there — all that was missing was a straight line to the front door. So we drew one.

C&F Creation began with one purpose: well-designed, well-made objects for the home, without the weight of a traditional retail price.

Rooted in craftsmanship, raised in a factory.

I grew up around manufacturing. My family’s factory was a second home. I carried materials with my mum, packed orders and watched raw components pass through every stage to their final finish.

That apprenticeship trained my eye. It also gave me what a sales catalogue cannot: a working knowledge of how an object is built.

That knowledge guides C&F Creation today. We know what a lasting piece requires, because we know how it is built.

Our vision for Australian homes.

Our brief is exact: floor lamps designed in Auckland for Australian homes, with quality intact and the retail layers removed.

C&F was built online, with lean overheads, and that discipline remains in every price. We dispatch within 2–3 business days, and NZ Post carries each lamp across the Tasman — tracked to your door in 3–6 working days from dispatch, with no distributor adding a margin.

Floor lamps are our first collection across the Tasman. The same discipline will shape what follows.
